Cooley gave a presentation in London for incisivetraining and InsuranceRisk on 19 February 2015.

The incisivetraining and InsuranceRisk course was on “Solvency II: Preparing for Implementation“.

We focussed our contribution on:

  1. The different ways in which the European supervisory authorities are preparing, and expecting their (re)insurers to prepare, for Solvency II;
  2. Which country’s (re)insurers are most, and least, likely to be ready for the off; and
  3. Third-country equivalence – will Switzerland, Bermuda and/or Japan be given equivalence, or not?

The Slides and audio are here, if you’d like to hear the discussion you missed.
